Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Arklow from 4pm until 8pm on Saturday & Sunday. Removal on Monday morning at 9.30am to St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.


HEMPENSTALL, Andrew (Andy)

The death has occurred of Andrew (Andy) HEMPENSTALL

late of Abbey Terrace, Arklow, Wicklow

May He Rest in Peace

Andy will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home Tuesday 4th October from 5 o’clock to 6 o’clock. Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock in S.S. Mary & Peter’s Church, Arklow, followed by private cremation service in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin.

The death has occurred of Mary MATES (née Cassell)

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Arklow from 1 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon with removal at 6.30 to St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church, arriving at 7 o’clock. Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock on Wednesday followed by burial in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.


BYRNE, Margaret (Peggy)

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) BYRNE (née Byrne)

Formerly of Scarnagh, Inch, Gorey, Wexford / Arklow, Wicklow

May She Rest In Peace

Margaret will be reposing at her son Felix’s residence, Coolgreany, Gorey on Wednesday (September 20th) from 7.00pm. Removal will take place on Thursday (September 21st) at 5.15pm to S.S Mary & Peter’s Church, Arklow. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10.00am, burial afterwards in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow.


COPELAND, Sheila

The death has occurred of Sheila COPELAND (née Kavanagh)

May She Rest in Peace

Reposing at St. Colman’s Hospital, Rathdrum Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday in St. Colman’s Hospital Chapel at 11am followed by burial in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow, arriving at 12.30pm approximately. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Colman’s Hospital Rathdrum.
